Roger Daltrey's summer tour at Tanglewood on 22 June 2024

The voice behind the legendary classic rock band, The Who, is bringing his summer tour to Tanglewood on 22 June 2024!

Rock and roll god Roger Daltrey is showing and telling it all at the world-class outdoor music venue with The Who bangers such as "My Generation", "Who are You", and "Baba O'Reilly"; other rarities and solo hits such as “Giving It All Away”; “Written On the Wind” and “Under a Raging Moon”.

Apart from being the frontman of one of the most influential rock bands of all time, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Roger Daltrey has racked up awards and is also going down in history as rock's fifth-greatest voice.

The brilliantly experimental and influential Roger Daltrey will be joined by special guests KT Tunstall and Dan Bern—a total must-see! Tickets are flying, and starting at the rocking price of $72, it is no surprise. Hit that button, and let there be rock!

Live rock doesn’t get better than this.

After rocking it for over 60 years, The Who frontman Roger Daltrey is taking the stage at Tanglewoods to share it all: The Who’s legendary and experimental music, the solo hits, the rarities, and the stories.

Going down as the voice of one of the most influential and inspirational rock bands of all time, Roger Daltrey has racked in awards, and rightfully so: from a Lifetime Achievement Award from both the British Phonographic Industry and the Grammy Foundation to being inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the UK Music Hall of Fame; from the Kennedy Center Honors to the George and Ira Gershwin Award for Lifetime Musical Achievement, to name but a few.

In the words of the co-founder of The Who, Pete Townsend, Roger Daltrey had “almost invented the pseudo-messianic role taken up later by Jim Morrison and Robert Plant”. In short, he is an absolute rock god.

The fifth-greatest voice of rock also has a highly successful solo career. With eight solo studio albums, there is no doubt that Roger Daltrey has cemented himself into the history of rock and will be worshipped by fans, young and old alike, for ages to come.

The extraordinary acoustic approach of this tour is perfectly suited for the Koussevitsky Music Shed, an open-air concert hall at Tanglewoods, nestled in the Berkshire Hills in Lenox, Massachusetts. The venue sports both roof and lawn seating.

Roger Daltrey will be joined by Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall, who broke into the music scene with her iconic single, "Black Horse and a Cherry Tree". With the energetic, propulsive beat and inventiveness of her music, together with her sumptuous vocals, she has made her mark internationally. American guitarist and singer-songwriter Dan Bern also joins Roger Daltrey as a special guest. This genre-bending artist has been compared to titans such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Elvis Costello.

Daltrey will be backed by a group of nine musicians playing a unique mixture of electric and acoustic instruments. The line-up includes Simon Townsend on guitar and backing vocals.
